[Scholarship] Announcement of Open Recruitment for Kwanjeong Educational Foundation Scholarship Recipients for Academic Year 2026 (Extended Deadline: Until February 11)

Announcement of the 2025 Kwanjeong Educational Foundation Scholarship Selection

Korea University Graduate School is pleased to announce the open recruitment and recommendation process for graduate student scholarships offered by the Kwanjeong Educational Foundation for the 2026 academic year. Interested graduate students are encouraged to apply as outlined below.

A. Scholarship Selection Information

1. Eligibility

• Current students enrolled in the General Graduate School as of the second semester of Academic Year 2025 (excluding research-completion students)
• Prospective students admitted for Spring 2026
• Applicants must not have plans to take a leave of absence during the first semester of Academic Year 2026.

2. Academic Requirement

• A cumulative GPA of 4.0/4.5 or higher in the previous degree program(s)
• For Master's and Integrated Master's-Doctoral applicants: cumulative undergraduate GPA
• For Doctoral applicants: cumulative GPA from both undergraduate and Master's programs

3. Number of Recipients

• To be determined by the Foundation based on the scale of its scholarship program and selected directly by the Foundation

4. Scholarship Period

• Up to four regular semesters

5. Scholarship Amount

• Up to KRW 6,000,000 per semester
• Living-expense scholarship, which may be received concurrently with internal university scholarships

B. Number of Recommendations by College and Selection Procedure

1. Number of Recommendations

• Up to two students may be recommended by each college
• If more than two students apply, the college will conduct its own review process to select nominees.

2. Selection Process

• First Round: Online document screening (March 2026)
• Second Round: Professional review (First week of April 2026)
• Third Round: Interview (Second week of April 2026)
• Final Results Announcement (Early May 2026)

C. Required Documents

1. Documents for the College of Health Sciences Review

• One copy each of:
  • Internal Application Form
  • Personal Statement
  • Academic Advisor Recommendation Letter

2. Online Submission

• Submission links will be sent by the Foundation only to university-recommended candidates.
• Scheduled distribution date: March 16, 2026

D. Important Notes

• Applicants are advised to carefully review the attached scholarship selection plan and related documents before applying.

E. Selection of College of Health Sciences Nominees

1. Number of Nominees

• Two students
• If three or more students apply, an internal college review process will be conducted to select two nominees.

2. Selection Procedure

• Submission Deadline: February 11, 2026 (Wed) by 11:00 AM
• Submission Location: Administrative Office (Room 153, Hana Science Hall)
