Graduation Requirement Submission Notice for February 2026 Graduates

Hello,
This is the College of Health Science Administration Team.
Students expected to graduate in February 2026 (including those who have already completed coursework requirements) are requested to review the information below and submit the relevant documents.

- Submission Period and Method for Graduation Requirements
- Deadline: By Friday, December 19, 2025, 16:00 (submit to the administration office, Room 153, Building B, Hana Science Hall)
If graduation credits have been completed but graduation requirements are not submitted, the student will be classified as completed coursework (non-graduating), and course registration or credit withdrawal will not be allowed. - If in-person submission is not possible, scanned documents may be submitted via email.
The email must be sent using the student’s Korea University email account (@korea.ac.kr).

- Eligible Students
Students (enrolled or completed coursework) expected to graduate in February 2026 (including all majors such as primary, intensive, double, and dual majors) - Graduation Requirement Documents
a. Official English proficiency score report (check individual department requirements)
- Scores obtained during enrollment (after admission year) are valid even if the expiration date has passed.
b. Students admitted in 2017 or later (freshman/transfer/re-admission) must complete the “Human Rights and Gender Equality Education” in order to graduate; failure to complete will result in completion status only (non-graduation).
- Freshmen: at least once per year, minimum 4 times in total
- Transfer students: at least once per year, minimum 2 times in total
- Re-admitted students: once per year starting from the semester of re-enrollment
c. Students admitted under the special quota (12-year program) must additionally submit TOPIK Level 4 or higher.
※ Not applicable to the Department of Biosystems and Biomedical Science

a. Core curriculum recognition form
- For general education courses already taken but to be recognized as core curriculum
- If not submitted, recognition is not granted and graduation may be affected
- Courses taken from Spring 2021 onward are not eligible for core curriculum recognition
b. Hanja proficiency exemption application form
- For students of Public Health Policy (completed status as of Feb 2019) wishing to graduate in Feb 2026
- Not required if already submitted
c. Graduation thesis exemption application form
- For Biosystems and Biomedical Science students (completed status as of Aug 2020) wishing to graduate in Feb 2026
- Not required if thesis has already been submitted

Please verify and update personal information in the portal system:
- Update contact information
- Correct any inaccurate phone number or email in the academic record for graduation-related notifications
- English name correction
- If the English name differs from the passport, submit:
“Correction of Personal Information Form” (attached form) + copy of passport - Signature required on the form
- Example: HONG, GIL DONG or HONG, GILDONG
- The English name will appear on the diploma and cannot be changed after issuance
- Important for overseas applications (must match passport exactly)
