[Recruitment] KU-Coach (Major Student Mentor) Program – College of Health Science

The Undergraduate College Learning Support Center operates the “KU-Coach (Major/Career Design Counseling Mentoring Program)” to help Korea University students systematically design their majors and career paths.
Accordingly, the College of Health Science is recruiting “KU-Coach” student mentors to strengthen student-led major/career counseling and enhance department-level mentoring systems.
We encourage interested students to apply.
- Program overview
- What is KU-Coach (major student mentor)?
A mentor who supports junior and peer students in major and career counseling within the same department.
*Selected students will participate in the “Major & Career Design Counseling” program, a 1:1 personalized counseling system, helping students design major selection, course planning, and career-linked strategies.
- Eligibility and selection criteria
- Eligibility: 2nd–3rd year undergraduate students in departments within the College of Health Science
- Selection criteria:
- Students with strong interest in their major and career planning, and who can actively and responsibly participate in mentoring activities
- Students who can empathize with peers’ academic/career concerns and communicate actively
- Main roles
- Provide information on majors and academic life
- Mentor junior and peer students regarding major and career planning
- Participate in and support department events such as major fairs
- Serve as a communication channel between students and the department
- Activities
- Participation in KU-Coach training sessions and regular events
- Semester-based counseling sessions and activity reports
- 1:1 mentoring with program participants
- Stipend provided after activities (amount to be announced later)

- Deadline: until 9:00 AM, Thursday, November 6
