Notice on Application for Deferral of Bachelor's Degree Acquisition

(Including Deferral Extension)

1. Relevant Regulations
 a. Article 62-2 (Degree Completion and Deferral of Bachelor’s Degree Acquisition) of the Regulations of the Academic Affairs
 b. Detailed Enforcement Regulations on the Deferral of Bachelor’s Degree Acquisition

2. Eligibility and Deferral Period
 a. Eligibility : Undergraduate students who have fulfilled all graduation requirements but wish to continue their studies
    or postpone graduation
 b. Deferral Period : May be extended on a semester-by-semester basis within the time limit for degree completion(재학연한)
  ※ Students who are expected to meet the graduation requirements after the upcoming Summer of Winter Courses may apply
     in advance during the application period. Please note that once Summer of Winter Courses grades are finalized,
     there may not be enough time to apply—so be sure to apply within the designated period.
  ※ Students currently under deferral who wish to extend their deferral must reapply during this application period. 
      Failure to do so will result in automatic graduation processing.
  ※ Students under deferral cannot receive certificates of enrollment or graduation, so please carefully 
     consider your future plans (e.g., employment, graduate school applications) before applying.
     Under no circumstances shall retroactive approval of graduation or issuance of a graduation certificate
     be permitted due to employment during the period of deferral of bachelor’s degree Acquisition.

3. Application
 a. How to apply : KUPID Portal → 학적/졸업 → 학사학위취득 유예 신청
   ※ The decision to apply or not to apply is final and cannot be reversed.

 b. Application period : January 8, 2026 (Thu), 12:00 PM – January 27, 2026 (Tue), 5:00 PM
 c. Application Type :
   ① Deferral with course registration
   ② Deferral without course registration
 d. (For Deferral with course registration) Course Registration Period : During the course registration period for new/transfer students in Spring 2026(February 24, 2026 (Tue), 10:00 AM – February 25, 2026 (Wed), 12:00 PM)
 e. (For Deferral with course registration) Tuition Payment Period : During the tuition payment period for students doing extra semesters in Spring 2026(in March)
